Faster emergency response
The east side of District 4 deserves the same response times as everyone else.
The problem
The nearest staffed station to east Pine Hollow is across Route 9. On a weekday afternoon, that crossing alone can add minutes to a call. I’ve driven that engine. I know.
What I’ll do
- Put a staffed station east of Pine Hollow in the county’s five-year capital plan.
- Ask for response-time reports by neighborhood, published quarterly.
- Pay for it through the capital plan and impact fees, not a new tax.
